Clean Cloth Gentle Scrub
Prepare a basin of lukewarm water. Splash it on your face. Using a soft clean cloth, gently scrub your face. If you think it will be harsh on your skin, you may use facial soap suitable for the type of your skin.

Natural Papaya Enzyme
For this, ripe papaya is highly suggested as it is less itchy. You can eat the edible part while you can use the papaya enzyme present in the peeling. Simply scrub the papaya peeling on your skin’s dark areas. This has been among the most effective home remedies for dark spots.

Lemon juice
Everyone knows that lemon juice is one of the most common whitening solutions. The natural bleaching property of citrus fruits helps in removing dark spots, thus, providing a more even skin. With continued use, it also lightens the skin. Simply squeeze a lemon. Rub the juice on the dark areas of your skin. Rinse it after 10 minutes.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Red Onions

Cleansing Cream Plus Sugar
Simply mix cleansing cream (1 teaspoon) and sugar (2 teaspoons). Mix them using you palms. Once you achieved a paste with a gritty texture, you can now massage in on your face. But, you should choose sugar with refined grains. Sugar with larger grains like Turbinado sugar may scratch your skin. Gently lather the cream on your face like a usual facial massage. After 3 to 5 minutes of scrubbing rinse with a basin of cold water. This makes the skin fresh and closes the open pores.

Yogurt
Milk-based products are good for the younger skin. The lactic acid in it contains bleaching properties. You can lather right amount of yogurt on your face every night as one of your home remedies for dark spots.

Coconut Oil, Lemon, and Sugar
Coconut oil has proven itself to be one of the most widely used natural skin products then and now. Add lemon and sugar which are known as good exfoliating agents. Just pour in coconut oil (½ cup) in a basin. In the absence of coconut oil, you may use almond oil, grape seed oil, and olive oil. Some other oil may also be used such as canola oil, vegetable oil, and peanut oil; however, they normally have strong smell. If you can’t take the smell of these types of oil, use the first three stated earlier. Add sugar (2 tablespoons). Continue stirring until you come up with a spreadable and gritty consistency. And then, squeeze a lemon on your mixture. Apply it all over your face and rinse later.

Aloe Gel
Peel the outer layer of fresh Aloe Vera leaf. Apply the gel on your skin as among your home remedies for dark spots.

Egg white plus honey
Egg white can be used as a natural face mask. Combined with the exfoliate property of honey, you will come up with perfect home remedies for dark spots. Apply the egg white-honey solution on your face or other dark areas of your skin every night. You will see good results in a week.

Honey, Green Tea, and Sugar
Brew a small bag of green tea into a mug. For a more concentrated solution, use a plain green tea. Once the tea gets cool, pour in honey (1 tablespoon) and sugar (1 tablespoon). Mix your solution thoroughly until all ingredients are blended well. After washing your face, you can now scrub it with the mixture. Concentrate on areas you feel often dry. When you feel that your scrubbing is well enough, remove your scrub using a damp washcloth. Finish it off with a cold water rinse.

Rose Oil
Rose oil is among the most popular home remedies for dark spots in the Asian region. Put a few drop of rose oil on a cotton swab and apply it on the dark area of your skin. Wash it with mild soap the next morning.

Gram Flour
Gram flour is typically used to whiten dark spots. Simply mix about 2 parts of gram flour with 4 parts of rose water. Apply the paste on the dark areas of your skin.

Baking Soda
It is known as a teeth-whitening solution in the kitchen. You can use it as one of home remedies for dark spots. Simply mix 1 part of baking soda to 5 parts of clean water, wash the skin area where there is darkening. Rinse with water. Do this every day and you’ll see positive results within 2 weeks.

White wine
Not many people that white wine contains bleaching properties. It has alcohol and grape extracts that are known to have whitening features. Dip a cotton ball on white wine and apply it on your skin’s dark areas.
